The man with the plan!

I have an exam in two weeks. In string theory… I have a wonder full study plan laid out, so I am in fact the man with the plan. It really is a good plan – only problem is that I’m already behind…

Yesterday I joined David and about 10.000 other motorcyclists in the annual opening of Bakken. It was my first time but hopefully not the last. There were a lot of really nice bikes there and the weather was really good! I’m sure the good weather was part of the reason for the really big turnout. Unfortunately I still don’t have a decent camera, so I didn’t get to take any pictures, but a lot of others have. Here is the best a quick search of the web returned to me so far if you would like to see a lot of bikes:

Springtime!

For the first time this year I went running outside today. I ran with two friends from their dorm. I’m not sure how long we ran, but it was a good start of the season and I’m sure I will have sore legs tomorrow. The weather was great for running – maybe a bit cold right when we started, but as we started running the cold stopped being a problem.

So I guess that means that spring is finally here – and I like it!

By the way, when did it start being all right for cars to not use their turn signals when turning, pulling over and stuff like that?!? It does make life as a bike cyclist a lot more… intense!

Update…

Selve demonstrationen blev bl.a. dækket af Politiken her.

Is this a police state?

During the last days of rioting here in Copenhagen the danish police has “searched” quite a lot of adresses around the city. It seems they have primarily been looking for people who have participated in the protests against the clearing of Ungdomshuset. The problem is that the police seem to have “forgotten” to bring search warrants.

I understand that the last couple of days have not been ‘buisness as usual’ for the police here in the Danish capitol, but has it really come so far that legal political organisations can have their memberlists searched by police without a warrent?

Sturday the third of March the police searched Folkets Hus (press releas from Folkets Hus, in danish) and Rød Ungdom‘s office (news article from politiken.dk, also in danish).
