Ahhh. It’s 1.40 pm (ish) and I’m having Coca-Cola and chips for break feast. Nothing better after a night out on the town with friends.
There were five of us out talking, drinking, dancing and just having a good time.
Oh, and since I last blogged (what a strange word, come to think of it…) I got through Christmas with the family, some social activities etc. and did way to little school work. Same old…

Danish ISP Tele2 has been forced to censor Russian based website allofmp3.com. I haven’t used allofmp3.com’s service, and don’t plan to in the future, but that doesn’t mean that this isn’t interesting and disturbing to me. If IFPI can get the courts to turn off allofmp3.com today, who will get what website turned off tomorrow? Your guess is as good as mine.

In a completely unrelated topic, I finished my algebra exam today. It didn’t go as well as I had hoped, but I should be sure of passing (and isn’t that the important part?). It was a written exam, so my final grade is not known yet. Time will tell.
Now I’m (almost) off to get some Julebryg of some sort, and then I have a packed (but interesting) weekend ahead of me. Take care out there (who ever might be listening out there…).
I had a nasty hangover this morning. Got a few beers to many last night.
Thursday I went with Rasmus to see Dronningen af Malmø. It started out a bit to slow for my liking, but picked up pace as the story started evolving. All in all a good night. When I came home, my laptop had finally fetched all the packages needed for upgrading from Ubuntu Dapper to Edgy Eft and had started the actual update. The update took a long time, but went rather smooth. I still have a few things I need to change but all in all I’m happy with the new Ubuntu. The F-Spot photo manager is one of the new things I really like, and think I will use quite a lot. Also, the Amarok player seems to be a bit more willing to play music without to much lag (generally a good thing for a music player), than it was before I updated.
The new fast and improved start up system doesn’t really impress me much yet, but maybe that’s because I don’t really know what to look for.
I JUST FOUND OUT A FEW MINUTES AGO THAT TODAY IS INTERNATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY, AND WHY NOT JOIN IN THE CELEBRATION?
MY WEEKEND WAS FUN, BUT SO FAR NOT VERY PRODUCTIVE. FRIDAY OLK (OVERLÆGERNES KLUB) THREW A PARTY AT PANUM, AND I SHOWED UP, DID A LOT OF DRINKING, A LITTLE BIT OF TALKING AND NO DANCING AT ALL.
MOST OF MY SATURDAY WAS SPEND WITH A HEAD ACE, BUT IN THE EVENING ESBEN AND RASMUS DID MANAGE TO DRAG ME ALONG FOR ONE BEER AT VERSTERBROS BRYGHUS.
TODAY I HAVE UNFORTUNATELY NOT YET STARTED STUDYING, BUT I DID SOMETHING ALMOST AS IMPORTANT – I HAVE BEEN REARRANGING CLOTHS IN MY CLOSET, TO MAKE A BIT OF SPACE. NOT EXTREMELY EXCITING, BUT QUITE PRACTICAL…
So, what have I learned over the past weekend?
I guess the most important lesson learned is that if you do not wish to wake up with a splitting hangover you should not drink white wine, rum, red whine and beer (in that order). I hope I’m right when I say that I will never drink like that again!
I have just gotten in the door after spending a few hours at Østre Anlæg, where I was attending Stella Polaris . Rasmus and I had planned to go to the beach, but instead we ended up at Østre Anlæg. Was quite nice just relaxing in the sunshine with chill-out music playing.
The rest of my weekend has been used for consuming quite a lot of alcohol. Most of my Saturday was wasted just laying on the couch with a hangover. I did however do some things that I have been postponing for way to long.
I finally signed up for Erimitageløbet, and I finally put up the two last lamps in the living room.
Before going out for a few beers Saturday night we watched Superman Returns at Imperial. I wasn’t really impressed, but it was more or less what I had expected. Kevin Spacey did a great Lex Luthor, but what surprised me the most was that Louis Lane and Superman had a child together. According to my biology classes that means that they have in fact had sex at some point… or as Thomas pointed out after the movie, maybe Clark Kent had dragged a very drunk Louis Lane into the copy-room during a company party at the Daily Planet. But I guess that is an aspect of their relationship that will never make it to the big screen. Maybe for the best.
If all goes well I should be going running with Rasmus in one hour or so, when it gets cold enough, and I guess that ends a though but fun weekend.
Ok, I’m not at all into the christmas feel yet (nor do I think I will get into it this year). I have a sore throat and a cold, my head hurts, and I’m not getting as much work done on my project as I would like.
But I did get my first christmas present yesterday! And right there, for a short moment, when I saw the box of 24 beers (and the other box of 24 sodas), I thought to my self “maby this season is not as shitty as you might think”.
