I think Esben might find the lable of this mineral water bottle funny. (You might have to zoom in a bit.)

Else nothing really interesting / new is going on down here. (There is a limit to how many blog entrys you can make of “got up, ate, went to the beach, read math, went for a swim, read more, ate and went to sleep”.) But I am still enjoying it! :)

I might end up using more money at the tailor than I am going to use on everything else put together. But that might be related to the fairly cheep prices on food here. A warm meal for lunch, with a soda or drink (including a tip) can be had for roughly 15 – 20 danish crowns. Also the local salespeople on the beach seem to thinks I look like I need to relax more than I already am – they keep wanting to sell me canabis. I have told them all no so far, but the next time maby Ill ask what the price is, just to check.

The weather here is still great, the water hot and my math book as exciting as ever.

I went to see a tailor today (after getting some quick fashion advice from back home – thanks Mark), so it would seem that I will be leaving Samui with 2 new suites.
On the way home along the beach I saw a elephant – the pictures are not great, but they are over here somewhere: .
Else, I don’t think I have anything interesting to tell – still alive, doing well and enjoying life.

freenet stuff

On monday I got some help with some php from my friend Søren H. It was not a lot of fancy things I needed done, but it was more that I could do myself, and since Søren knows quite a bit more php than me it did not take him long to show me the syntax and the functions I needed. Anyway, what I needed done is done (and you can’t really see it directly from the outside), but you can go here: sbc.lir.dk/distribution/ to download freenet (if sourceforge is acting up), or my seednoes.ref file, if the ones you have are old and/or not working for you. (Of course you should go to the official freenet site as your first option and only use the above link in case all else fails.)

Leverpostej

Det slog mig ligefør da jeg smurte mig en leverpostejs mad (med agurk), at holdbarhedsdatoen på min leverpostej er senere end min afrejse til Thailand. Det er altså rigtig snart. Under 2 uger.

Reading? No (not yet anyway).

So, it’s almost one o’clock and i have not yet done any reading today. I got up a bit later than i usually do, ate breakfeast while playing a bit of WoW. Then Søren H called asking if i had a cd he needed. He came bye, but it turned out I didn’t have the cd he wanted – a guy at his kitchen had it.
But we talked a bit, drank a shot of whisky (old tradition we startede when i was living with him 4 years ago) and just “hung out”. So, he had a class and i had to get a book from dnlb, so we got on our bikes and went to Nørrebro. The weather outside is great! Really great! I remeber thinking on the way home, “ok, maby i have not done a whole lot of reading yet, but does it really matter, when life is this nice?”.

So, i got home, did some groceries shopping, and now, i guess there is only one thing for me to do… get lunch!
And then, maby read a bit? You never know?

I also chattede a bit with esben this morning. Sounded like he has had a lot of fun – he has been on a short trip to Mexico. Could have been quite fun.

Anyway, i’m off to the ktichen to fix me some food.

Do I look like a drug dealer?

Yesterday i was out for a walk and these 3 kids asked me , in english, if I knew where they could by some extacy. So I have been asking my self if I do look like a drug dealer.
Anyway, the kids turned out to be from Malmø, Sweeden, and they were in Copenhagen for a night and a laugh.

So, anyway, whatever I look like me and my flatmate are going to go and listen to some jazz in Tivoli in an hour or so. Should be fun!

The wrath of God!

So, i passed my final exam this semester. I did not make a brilliant presentation, but it was a oral exam that was graded as “passed” or “not passed” and i got a passed, so now is my wacation – quite nice.
Went to a party over at Søren H’s place – got drunk and all that… and this is the point in the story where the warth of god comes in. Because today i was awoken quite early by his evil minions! The people in the church next door (which is not quite a church) were singing and playing music so i woke up just now with a headace.

I also went to see “Sin City” – nice movie. Although our seets were not that great and i suspect that i might have missed a few parts of the plot. Might go to see it again.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters

So far all the entries in this (yet short) blog have been kinda serious. But not this one. I went with my flatmate to see Elvis Costello and The Imposters in Tivoli yesterday. It was an ok consert (although some people had trouble understanding that they were not the only ones there, so they started unfolding umbrellas up to avoid the rain – making it hard to see the stage for the rest of us).
On the way home it realy rained alot and there was also thunder, so since we were already soaking wet we started running and jumping in puddles. Might as well just have fun, right?
I wonder if my clothes are dry yet…

And since i still have a lot of exams the next 3 weeks, that was proberly the most fun i’m going to have until the exams are all over. Lucky me!
